IELTS Writing Expression 2 - 비교, 비율, 안정

1. 비교 표현

● ~와 거의 같다 : is nearly / roughly equal to ~
● 균등하게 분포되어 있다 : is evenly distributed
● ~가 뒤를 잇다 : followed by ~, ~ is close behind at 수치
● 격차가 넓어지다/좁아지다 : the gap widens / narrows
● 비슷한 경향을 보였다 : A similar pattern / trend was seen
● 두드러지다 : stand out

 

 

2. 비율 표현

● 거의 ~을 차지하다 : account for almost ~, make up almost ~
● 대략 ~에 해당하다 : represent approximately ~
● ~의 범주에 속하다 : fall into the category of ~
● 다수의 : the majority of 
● 이루어져 있다 : consist of, is composed of 
● 우위를 차지하는 : is dominant
● ~를 합한 것보다 : more than ~ combined

 

 

3. 안정 표현

● 상대적으로 균일한 : is relatively flat
● 안정적인 상태를 유지하다 : remain stable / constant
● 거의 변화가 없다 : There is nearly no change (in)
● ~에 머무르다 : stay at ~

 

 

4. 유용한 단어

● 추정치 : projection
● 몇 년 사이에 : between the years
● 하위권에서 : on the lower end
● 이전의 어느 연도보다 : than in any previous years
